Bumble Brynn
Visual artist working between studio and public space
Brynn is a mixed media artist whose work moves between studio practice and live drawing in public settings. During live music events, Brynn creates portraits in short sittings, where drawing and conversation unfold simultaneously.
Guided by observation, sound, and the presence of the person in front of her, each portrait becomes a small record of a shared moment. Working in cafés, festivals, and cultural spaces, the drawings emerge as part of the surrounding atmosphere, responding to the rhythm of the environment and the people within it.
Through painting, live portrait drawing, and creative workshops, Brynn’s practice centers on attention, human connection and allowing the work to take shape in relation to its context.

Brynn’s journey
Brynn, known to people close to her as Bumble, is an intuitive and empathetic artist whose work often touches the emotional layers of memory and lived experience. Her practice grows from encounters with others, from the quiet pull of nostalgia, and from the way personal stories can surface through moments of connection. These impressions move through her work and gradually take form in drawing and painting.
Guided by curiosity and sensitivity to her surroundings, Brynn works across multiple techniques and materials, allowing the medium to respond to the environment in which the work appears. Her approach often merges past impressions with present encounters, creating images that feel both familiar and newly formed. When working in public spaces, her attentive presence naturally draws people in, allowing moments of observation, conversation, and shared attention to unfold.
Much of her work emerges from what she describes as a zero-thought state, a moment in which the mind becomes quiet and drawing begins to move on its own rhythm. Portrait drawing allows her to deepen a sense of connection beyond herself, while painting becomes a way to transform memory, atmosphere, and feeling into generative visual form. Rather than translating emotion directly, her work reflects how individual stories—moments that move someone to joy, longing, or reflection can be felt through lines drawn in the moment or through paint settling onto canvas.
Brynn’s signature style is marked by responsive, intuitive strokes that carry a sense of movement and immediacy. Each gesture invites the viewer to pause, to look more closely, and to wonder about the story that may have unfolded just before the image appeared.
